  1. The easiest way is with about 1-1/2 lb. ground beef (I like 96/4 ground sirloin - or a combination of ground sirloin and ground pork);  add 1 egg; a package of dry onion soup mix;  about 1/2 c. dry Italian seasoned bread crumbs (maybe more).   You can add BBQ sauce, if you like that too .... put it into a big loaf pan, with some more BBQ sauce on top (or form into a loaf on a baking sheet).... bake at 375 for about 45 min - 1 hour.  Let it sit about 5-10 min before you slice it.......serve with mashed potatoes and green beans

  2. Meatloaf

  3. mix together ground beef, garlic powder, season salt, black pepper,3 or more cloves of garlic chopped, onion, bell pepper, finely crushed crackers or bread crumbs,a little tomatoe sauce and 2 eggs.in a large bowl using hands combine all ingredients thorouly, add to pan, shape in a loaf, cover and cook on 375-400 for 45-50 min.in a bowl combine tomatoe paste and sauce, with a little hit of bbq sauce, brush on top of meatloaf and cook uncovered to your desire.one last ingredient for the meatloaf mixture before cookin, add a packet of meatloaf mix. ENJOY!

  4. Mix meat as usual. I use part beef, veal and pork. Add egg, breadcrumbs.Saute tiny chopped, red pepper, carrots, onions and 1/2 small tin of tomato paste until lightly browned and soft, add to meat and mix. Bake in 350 oven until nice and brown (about an hour). You can put meat into a loaf pan to cook or on a cookie sheet. Mold into an oval.

  5. Everyone has a different recipe...but for me if it doesn't have green peppers and onions in it...it isn't Meatloaf.I,ve made this one many times..last night even. The left overs make great meat loaf sandwiches.

  6. milk butter and choclate mmmmmmmmmm

  7. Go to the grocery store, and check around the packages of gravy, and other packaged product mixes. They have a meatloaf mix that is really good. You just mix it all together and bake it. However, it takes longer to bake it than it says.

  8. Grandma's Meat Loaf

    1 lb. thawed ground beef

    1/2 C. chopped onion

    2 TBSP. butter

    1/2 C. bread crumbs

    1/2 C. milk

    1 egg, beaten

    ketchup

Cook onion in butter until translucent. Mix onion together with raw beef, bread crumbs, milk and egg. Form into loaf in a small baking pan. With wooden spoon, make slanted lines on top of loaf and put ketchup along each groove. Cook at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes. Serves 4-6.

  9. This is an easy meatloaf recipe that used to appear on Quaker Oatmeal boxes. It's the only one I've ever used and always gets great reviews!

    Ingredients:

1 pound hamburger (preferrably lean ;)

1 cup tomato JUICE (can get this in individual cans in the juice section of your grocery store)

    1 1/4 cup oats

    1 egg ~ beaten

    1/4 cup chopped onion

    1/2 tsp. salt

    1/4 tsp. pepper

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix all of the ingredients into a bowl ~ I wash my hands and mix by using both hands and squeezing and squishing all ingredients together. (I always saw my mom do this and thought it was the only way ~ obviously it isn't, but it works great).

Pat ingredients into a casserole dish. Note: I used a square glass casserole dish so that it gets done in the middle - sometimes in a loaf pan, the middle is to thick and the meatloaf isn't quite done

I pour a drizzle of extra tomato juice over the top of my meatloaf prior to baking.

Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour - check to see if it's done in the middle and bake slightly longer if it needs it. If you spoon some of the drippings over the meatloaf as it's baking, it keeps it moist on the edges.

    1 pound ground chuck

10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 (8-ounce) package sharp Cheddar, grated

    2 large eggs, lightly beaten

    1/4 cup bread crumbs, toasted

    1/4 cup mayonnaise

    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

    1/3 cup ketchup

    2 tablespoons prepared mustard

1 (3-ounce) can French fried onions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck and next 8 ingredients, mixing well.

In a small bowl, combine the ketchup and mustard. Stir 1/4 cup ketchup mixture into meat mixture, reserving remaining ketchup mixture.

Press meat mixture into a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan, or shape into a loaf and place on a rack in a broiler pan. Spread remaining ketchup mixture over loaf. Bake 40 minutes. Top with French fried onions; bake another 10 to 15 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink.
