  1. Easy-Off works.  Just follow the directions on the jar.

  2. I always buy a decent oven cleaner, Selleys, etc... take the rails outside in the fresh and and place on thick wads of newspaper... away from kids etc, and spray the heck out of them. After 20 minutes or so they scrub up really well in hot soapy water in the sink with some steel wool. Any stubborn stains can be resprayed. Just don't breathe in the stuff - it's dreadful and can literally take your breathe away.

  3. Use a mixture of Baking Soda and Vinegar made into a paste about fifty/fifty then apply to Scotchguard pad or Nylon netting scrubber and scrub leave on until dry, when dry scrub with one of the suggested scrubbers above and rinse with hot water Good Luck !

  4. I have taken mine outside and put several thickness of newspaper under them. Use a good oven cleaner and completely cover them. Let it work as per directions on can. Rinse with garden hose. Any remaining stuff should come right off with a Brillo pad. Do this on the driveway, not your lawn.

  5. Oven cleaner left ovenight, wash off in the morning.

  6. Things You’ll Need:

    Dishwashing soap

    Old towels and washcloths

    Large trash bag

    Ammonia

    Oven cleaner

    Bathtub Method

Step1Remove the racks from the oven and place them in your bathtub. Be careful not to scratch your tub; you may want to lay them on an old towel inside the tub.

Step2Submerge them in hot water. Add liquid or granular dishwashing soap. Let them soak overnight.

Step3Scrub with a washcloth in the morning to get them clean.

    Trash Bag Method

Step1Place the racks in a heavy-duty trash bag for a no-mess cleaning method. Do this outside on your driveway.

Step2Add a half-quart of ammonia and seal the bag tightly. Let them soak overnight.

Step3Rinse them in the morning with the garden hose.

    Oven Cleaner Method

Step1Lay your racks on an old towel on your driveway.

Step2Spray oven cleaner on the racks and let them soak overnight.

Step3Scrub off any stubborn bits and rinse with the garden hose.

    Self-Clean Method

Step1Leave the racks in your oven and use the self-cleaning feature if you do not care what your racks look like.

Step2Notice that over time the racks lose their shine and the texture will change to rough.

Step3Rub the racks with some salad oil to get them to slide easily again.

  7. There is a simple way to clean the rails. Put them in the laundry sink and cover with very hot water with a good shake of laundry powder. Leave overnight.

Next day give them a quick rub down with soapy steel wool. The grease will fall off.

  8. After that use hot water

  9. I would recommend using jml's Doktor Power this stuff is amzing i use it to clena the whole of my oven over, you can use it on pretty much anything even the alloys on your car and it only costs £4.99 and even better it is 100% enviromentally friendly so no nasty fumes to inhale like other oven cleaners.

Seriously give this a try it is amazing stuff.

    Good luck

  10. I use baking soda and water, works great!!! that vinegar, and lemon juice are the best things to use to clean and they work sooooo good, and cheap...try it.
