Best mic brand?

im getting a microphone,

just for the fun of singing :)

and i need to know the best brand.

and best mic amp brandd.

please shareee!

Get a Shure, SM57, great mics for recording voice or instrumental and the price is reasonable. Better quality exists but you said just for fun. You can really amp a mic many different ways, you probably wouldn't need anything over 15 watts, although if you will be performing live I'd suggest a small scale PA system.
