I am on a quest to find the best milkshake in London, but I don't want it to be from Ed's Diner or Tinseltown, I am looking for some little out of the way cafe or restaurant somewhere that someone might have stumbled upon and drank the most heavenly delicous shake!

  1. Two places I can recommend. Firstly the shakes, fruit shakes in any of the "Giraffe" restaurants/cafes are amazing. There are Giraffes all over London , start with the one on the Thames at the South Bank Center and then go to the one in Hampstead and look around the area whilst you are there. There is a great portugese cafe in Hoxton Square called Macando which has the best hot chocolate I have every drunk, though not sure they do "shakes". Check it out, its quaint and really authentic.

  2. Ask a Kiwi or an Australian who has lived or worked in London for quite some time - they should be able to tell you.

  3. chocolate milkshake

    in Local Cafe

    East Finchley

  4. Is there a shake away in london?

Otherwise I would have said the two that you have found.

Edit: No not yet - but you could nip down to croydon for one. Very very good.
