  1. Transformers (2007)  If you want to put that home theater system to good use try this movie. But only if you like guns, heavily modified vehicles, hot girls, planes, and lots of action to tie it all together. I'm just sayin'.

  2. ( Predator ) is awesome on large screen and the sound track is great with a the sounds from the jungle all around you .

I watched it at my brothers house on his large screen and it felt like you  are in the middle of the whole thing with the sound all around you..Plus it was a great movie. He has a Sony HDTV

with a Bose 5.1 surround sound system.

    George

  3. Saving private Ryan sounds like the tanks are in your room and pearl harbor sounds if the planes are. Also what lies beneath sounds fantastic as does the bodyguard. Also vertical limit.Theres just a few for you decide on but theres loads which sound fantastic

  4. U-571  The depth charge scene is awesome.. Well the whole movie is awesome.

  5. their should only be one number 1 choice..surround sound...big screen tv

    The Movie '300'

  6. Its hard to be impressed by a movie that you don't like.  So I will list some movies, that I used to demo systems when I worked for a Hifi store.  Hopefully you already own some of these movies.

    Toy Story 2 (Chapter 1&11)

    The Incredibles (Any chapter)

The Fellowship of the Ring (Intro)

    Spider-Man (Chapter 7)

    300 (Any Chapter)

    Drumline (Chapter 34 -My Favorite)

The genre many forget are concert videos.  Here are some that will make viewers want to watch the whole disc. Concert Videos sometimes lack in the video department but make up for it in the audio.  The Cream disc is an exception, with goreous video to match.

Phill Collins "Finally... The First Farewell Tour"

3 Doors Down "Live - Away from the Sun"

Bruce Hornsby  "Three Nights on the Town"

    Cream "Royal Albert Hall"

Crossroads: Eric Clapton Guitar Festival 2007

  7. 1.SILENCE OF THE LAMBS

    2.CARRIE

  8. Science fiction or action/adventure movies tend to push systems to their limits.

These can be anything from any of the "Star Wars" movies to any films in the "Die Hard" series.

"2001: A Space Odyssey" is another good one for its visual content.  "The Matrix" is, of course, another solid suggestion.  "Gladiator" is yet another one.

There are too many films that can do what you ask with aplomb so basically choose films that YOU favor.

  9. As far as subwoofers are concerned, and only if your subwoofer is capable of acurate reproduction infrasonic bass.

War Of The Worlds is reference material

It has plenty of information at 20hz and some extention to 16 hz.

Your home theater aint awesome unless your sub is.

SVS    pb12+/2 is what I have!
