What brand is good for a 1990 daytona? Is flowmaster good? what do you think would sound better a deep smooth sound or a big block sound? I don't know too much about mufflers...I Definitaly don't want that crappy sound alot of honda owners put on thiers...

  1. If it's a four banger. Keep it stock. Nothing going to make a four cylinder sound like a V8. Even if you did change mufflers you would not notice any power increase. Save your money.

  2. put on a cherry bomb turbo muffler

  3. i have a 99 5.9 L and have a cut out on it.. so it pretty much sounds like a race truck and has a nice rumble and is loud as ****.. but as for your truck i would suggest cherrybomb glasspacks (two of them). flowmaster is alright to me.. i would only go with flowmaster if you want a tone because they are not loud at all.. if you want to wake the neighbors go with cherrybomb glasspacks or the vortex. if you just want to know your truck is running go with flowmaster.. if you have anything under a v6 dont bother.. some v6's even sound like ricers with exhaust  on them.. or what you could do which is somewhat illegal tho. is cut the muffler off and run a pipe coming out of the side that will sound good. i would also suggest gibson super truck but that is pricey

  4. flo master is a good muffler as it burns out a little it actually sounds better, most mufflers start to pop back through the exhaust when they burn out some but a flo master will keep its sound for a long time, their worth the money they cost,i got some on my truck and they sound real good, and their holding up really well also, good luck.

  5. Flowmaster, maybe Cherrybomb? but yeah only go with them if you have at least a V6, just an opinion though.....But yeah, they're both pretty good brands....
