Best neighborhoods in Victoria, BC?

Question

I'm considering moving from Toronto to Victoria and hoping I can get some advice on the best neighborhoods there for what I'm looking for-->lots of young people (20's-30's), close to entertainment as well as nature and the ocean. Is my best bet to stick near the university of victoria campus to start?

i have lived there. stay away from the fort street areaor anywhere close to downtown. i like the Uvic area. clean and pretty safe. there is alot of housing in the area... but can get pricey, but is close to the ocean.
