I'am presently with Orange and have been loyaly for over 10 years, im on the dolphin package £35 per month, my bills average around £80-£90 PM, i would like to browse the web and use email via my phone more often, i'm a big txter and very rarely use my 500 free mins, ( i asked orange if any call minutes that i didnt use could they be used for browsing the web !! but a strict NO was the reply not even negotiable for a high end user)i find orange are not very faithful to long term customers is there any other bundles out there that let you browse web and use emails and of course a good call and txt package at a reasonable price!! as i find when i access the web and go to read my emails my bills are extremely painfull.

Thanks for any help regarding this queery, and please constructive answers only please !! cheers..

  1. hi ya

i am also with orange on the same plan as you and recently renewed by contract for 18 months - they let me have £5 off my rental (now £30 a month) and for reward to my loyaty they let me have the N95 free, and upgraded my account to 500 mins (as before) with unlimited texts aswell

have you spoke to them and made a point of what a long customer you are and what they can offer you to stay? works every time

  2. Check out O2 first, i with them and have been with them for a long time, customer service and after sales is perfect.  Another bonus is discounted broadband which is 100x times better than Orange will ever be.  It isn't free but they do not mess you around like i know Orange would.

The thing is with something like the Phone companies like Apple and HTC are trying to push people to email contacts instead of texting.  That's one of the reasons why an Phone would be perfect.  O2 on line and in retail stores have loads of fantastic deals with "bolt ons" (add ons) sometimes free when you go on a specific contract or sim only deal.

The good think about o2 they currently have a deal called simplicity which is a contract but min 30 days contract.  So you can end it whenever you want, without paying extra charges.

Broadband is amazing quick at 20mb for £15 i think.  Free kit in 2 weeks. 24/7 UK Helpdesk.
