  1. The BEST place now in Madrid is The Penthouse, at the ME Madrid. (Plaza de Santa Ana, 14). A short queue to enter, because there is only one elevator. But it goes fast! You can check the place here:

The second one, for me is the terrace of the Urban Hotel (Carrera San Jerónimo, 34). Cocktails are great! I recommend the Mojito.

(Both expensive, about 15 euros a drink or higher) BUT the best now!! It's worth going at least once, trust me :)

Finally, I would choose the Cielo de Pachá (Barceló) as third option! Still good although it is difficult to enter. Drinks also expensive here... about 12 euros.

    Besos and enjoy!

  2. In Barcelona i don't know.

In Madrid there are the Pacha, Radikal... (disco music), and in the center of Madrid there are many places.

In the district of Tribunal (malasaña) there are many pubs and bars, and all types of music.

In Hortaleza there are too many clubs...

    Chau ;)

  3. Barcelona:

Go to Jamboree which is in Plaza Reial right off of the Rambla.  Catch some jazz or flamenco early in the evening and the head downstairs to the club around 2:00 when the fun starts. Cover in summer is i think 9 euros.  There are night clubs down by the beach as well.  Try Baja, Shoko, or Catwalk.  Thursdays are good nights to get in free.  Those three are located very close together, get off at the metro stop Ciutadella Vila Olimpica.  Be sure to check out Razzmatazz.  It's a multi-themed club and a popular concert venue.  Near metro stop Marina.

    Barcelona is amazing.  Enjoy it!

  4. I would certainly advice you to go to Malasaña, its a big area and involves a few different music styles and kinds of people. You should take the underground to "Alonso Martinez", "Tribunal",or even "Chueca". Outside, ask around to get some directions to pubs/clubs

About Chueca...its a g*y district, but it has outstanding nightclubs. So If you feel like going there, it will sure be a different experience. No strings atached, no need to be homosexual, just wish of having fun.

There are many other clubs around, but separated from each other. And you must know about them before going. Kapital, in Atocha(underground stop), is one other option. Such as Elite, in Chamartin (another underground stop) they are both a little snob-like ambiences.

Hope that worked for you. Have fun!
