  1. No need to go to manchester when you will be living in a city which is one of the best places for night life!!

There are plenty of great places to go but as you are a student you will probably end up going to Medication on a Wednesday and Garlands on a Thursday.  There are loads of student nights on and a lot of students tend to go to the same ones each week.

Try concert Square - Modo has fantastic cocktails that are buy one get on free on a week day!

  2. my advise is beware of the gils with aides up there

  3. liverpool is pretty calm come down to syracuse some fun stuff only 10minute drive

  4. I pass through Liverpool quite often and sometimes spend the night there if  transport arangements don't work out. I never bother getting a hotel. The night-life is great. You won't be disappointed. There's loads of good bars and clubs, and Liverpool is a lot happier place than Manchester, mostly safe, and very friendly. It's a great city, and I'm a southerner saying that.I love the place. A lot of it is a huge building site right now. The New Liverpool is rising up. The city is buzzing. House music is popular. They call it 'Scouse House'. If it's JMU you're going to there's quite a few  of campuses all over the City,so I don't know which part you'll be based in,but transport is fine. Night buses and taxis are OK and cheaper than in many other  cities. The local girls have their own style of (half)dress, and just walking around at night is a pleasure. The 'street show' is just amazing sometimes. Make sure you're in town for Chinese New Year in February. Liverpool has one of the oldest Chinese communities in Europe and the biggest Chinese Arch outside of China. The celebrations are awesome. Huge. And you get Chinese supermarkets in town as well as the usual Tesco and Shoprite,so you can buy a lot of stuff cheap that you'd pay through the nose for otherwise. Also,St,John's market near Lime Street Stn is good. For a student on a budget, you can do pretty well for yourself in Liverpool. You're in for a good time. You'll remember to do some study sometimes.eh?  There's awkward sort of exam things to fit in.Liverpool has a lot of distractions.

  5. I was there a couple of months ago and my friends took me out to a club called Babycream, it had two floors and was pretty cool. we also went to this spot called nation and a little lounge on top  of a pub called the lemon lounge.

  6. Bar baa, its great for shots, Bar cava really good too. Night clubs aren't my thing really but i believe there are some good ones!

  7. Cube Bar which opened last week is good.  I adore Alma De Cuba; an old Church which has been converted into a gorgeous bar/club.

Also recommended are Circo and Korova.  Newz is full of WAGs and the odd Hollyoaks cast member.
