  1. Try asics running shoes. I have some and they are so comfortable and inexpensive.Good Luck!

  2. consedering that shoes can be pretty expensive, i like anything by puma - i think they are ideal for  running and they are about $110 which is not bad

  3. new balance 992.

those are the shoes i use when jogging.

  4. I always love Easy Balance, I was in the military and have slightly high arches and loved them and they lasted a real long time as far as comfort, support and stood up well to the beating I gave them.

  5. 3D-grid is awesome. 2k miles in 2 years and I still use em for yard work and painting. And I got them again at th same store (Big 5) and for th same price. So far I've done 800 miles in my new pair.

    50$ original price 108$ but 1/2 off!

Hardly any ware on em! I can't use em anymore because of the paint, dirt, and blood. But I also thrashed the heel. But other than that I ould have run more on the sole which was hardly touched!

  6. PENNY WISE POUND FOOLISH..

you get what you pay for, buy cheap, and you'll get injured

  7. The person who said last years model of an expensive shoe is correct. You dont want to go cheap when it comes to running shoes. You use your feet and legs everyday and the last thing you want to do is buy cheap shoes that will allow you to be injured.

You say you pronate. Well if you go with a brand like asics they actually design their shoes for each type of pronation. If you read about each model of their shoes it will tell you what pronation it corrects and which body type it is designed for (small framed to large framed body types)

Go to www.roadrunnersports.com they sell only running stuff and have a section that is last years model of shoes being sold at a reduced cost. This way you can get a great whoe at an enexpesive price without jeapordizing your knees, feet & joints.

Brand and style take a back seat to comfort & support. There are also ads in this catalog/site that will send you a kit to determine what shoe/shoes are best for your foot. they record your step with the kit and look at your arch and how you pronate and determine what shoe is best for you.

no one on here can tell you a brand of shoe best for you becuase for running it is determined by your pronation and foot strike and what works for them wont work best for you.

I would say however is to stick with brands that make running shoes. I mean Nike makes a running shoe but they make them with a lean towards making them fancy and not as functional.

Asics, New Balance, Sacony (spelling) all spend tons of money researching what makes a better running shoe and are dedicated to the field of running where Nike and companies like that are all over tha gamit. Not the best for someone who is a serious runner

ADDITION: by buying last years brand of asics (my brand) I have got deal where i paid $40.00 for a shoe that was $90.00 the year before. I believe runner's world tells you the best time of the year to look for last years model of shoe becuase like cars the new models come out at certian times of the year and make the old models most available

Another thing is to buy a few pairs of the old model when you find them that way you have replacements when your one pair wears out and you are replacing them at todays price not the price 6 months to a year from now which that price will only be higher

  8. I luv reebok i got some awesome sweet shoes that felt comfy for i think $27.50

  9. The best is the expensive shoe but last seasons model!

You can get some serious discounts on older season models!
