Best old-fashioned place in england to live?

I love old fashioned things. I enjoy simple old fashioned things and I am looking for an old fashioned place in england to live. I am not a city girl at all!

  1. If you want that sort of old world charm then you will have to go to a rural village. How about Chew Magna in Somerset? It is also near Bath (which has all sorts of lovely Georgian architecture and Roman Baths, and if you do need to go to the city then there is also Bristol.

  3. Unfortunately, although certain towns and villages have tried to preserve their 'old-fashioned' look and appeal, you'll find the same High Street shops and supermarkets everywhere.

    Get as far away from major cities as you can. Try Penzance or the Far North.
