Best over the counter mascara?

Question

I want a mascara no more expensive than 8 dollars! (I know I'm cheap but I'm a starving college student!) It has to my my eyelashes look thick and long, but not at all clumpy. Something that last at least a month and it HAS to be waterproof!

So giiiiiiiiirls, or make-up artist, which one is it?

I will be honest and tell you that I have never tried it, but I hear that CoverGirl Lash Blast (which is waterproof) is very, very good for its price (not sure how much it is.)

A lot of people also say that Maybelline's Define-A-Lash (also waterproof) in the green tube is very good, but personally, it doesn't work for me. I've seen it work on other people, but it takes a lot of effort to get my lashes the way I want and by the time I achieve the desired look, my lashes look like they've been drenched with mascara and it has the illusion that they're clumped/clumping.

Look no further...I have done the research for you.  Well, I did it for myself, but I know what you're going through.  I tried Cover Girl, but the bottle only lasted 2 weeks and after that, it flaked every time I put it on.  Same with Rimmel, Revlon, etc.

What you are looking for is Max Factor.  The new one with the neon brush.  They make it in waterproof.  I have used it for well over a month and it's still going strong.  Good Luck.

mascara is by far my number one MUST HAVE and believe me, i've spent a lot of money and i've tried EVERYTHING from cover girl to chanel.... and hands down, my favorite go-to mascara is Voluminous Blackest Black by L'oreal.... and if you don't mind your eyelashes being a little bit hard after applying makeup, L'oreal's Lash Architect is very good too..... don't waste your money on anything else....

Girl you are totally missing out on your makeup!

The best mascara in the drugstores is Covergirl Lash Blast and Maybelline Great Lash. Both of these mascara's are really good and 100 percent clump free.

So go and buy it now!

Maybelline, not the apple green color, but the Pink one, that's waterproof, I can't remember the name but it's shape is like a thick cigarrette type, not square...
