can anyone tell me the best personal desktop computer?

dell hp any thing that u like about the style all computers are really good goo on the internet of where u would like to purchase the computer and oook at the ratings that they have if it is a poor rating 1-3 i wouldnt take the chance read yy they rated it that way and if the rating is tottally bad just dont purchase that computer if a rating is 4 or higher then read the decripstions about y it was rated this way if u find the decriptions good on 4 or higher that would preobably be the right computer to buy but sometimes u cant trust online ratings so u should go to the stoe and ask some questions about the computers wat it isnt good for if alot of people return it and dont like if it comes with a mini microphone if u are interested or if it comes with speakers which most do when u get home u wanna make sure it has all the wires and parts that u need to set it up such as the disk for windows some computers come with vista but most people do not like it and i dont approve of it either good luck with wateve ur doin

Dell or Acer.

definately not dell or acer, they use the cheapest components, second to maybe gateway.  I like hp/compaq or even better a custom build

a top of the line apple

They're great machines. You can run it as a pc or with osx if you like apple os. Great hardware. Excellent software bundled with the os. The only thing theyre not good for is hard-core gaming.
