Best photo quality P&S Camera?

Ok, so I just learned that Megapixels do NOT necessarily equal good picture quality, and in fact sometimes higher MP=lower quality, you just can blow the pic up bigger is all.

So with that in mind, what is the absolute best picture quality point & shoot camera in the up-to-$160 price range?

the canon brand is what you need.something like a720 is one of the best choices.also a580 if you are seeking cheap ones.or sx100 if 6x optical zoom is needed
