  1. If it's fast-food, Pizza Hut. Otherwise, I'd recommend 'Porto Romano' in City Square, KL.

  2. Try Marco's Pizza at Kelana Jaya!

  3. Sure Pizza, Shakey’s pizza, Pizza Hut, Pizza Piccolo

  4. pizza hut....

  5. We don't have our own Malaysian made pizza that really hit the market yet. You can try the mobile pizza that goes around the neighborhood in klang valley, but last I saw them was a year ago somewhere in Ampang area. Can't remember the name though. And we all know we have different taste and most of us probably like pizza hut or dominos or sharkey's for so many different reasons...I'd eat any of them any time! So i guess the answer to your question is...well, try all of them 'cause they're all yummy!!

  6. The best among them would be at Piccolo Mondo restaurants. U can find piccolo mondo in Midvalley Megamall KL.

  7. Pizza's are very individualised. It really depends on the end consumer.

For example, true pizza's in Italy do not have very much ingredients. The flavours comes from a few basic herbs and tomato paste. Meats are secondary and cheese is not mandatory.

As compared to Malaysia and many other western countries, pizza's are synonymous with cheese all over and meat all over depending on the consumer's taste.

But since we're not in Italy, here are some guides of pizza places in KL. (some, not all......)

    1. For really cheap and fast pizza's, try Pizza Italia which is located in Hartamas Square (the food court). Its a Malaysian company selling Italian food at reasonable prices and cooked and served to you by Bangladeshi. :)

    2. For funky flavours (peking duck, italian sausages, etc), try California Pizza Kitchen in KLCC. Located on the first floor, just above Chinoz on the Park. By far it is one of my favourite places to go and the pasta is fabulous. (try the portobello mushroom gnocchi if you're there)

    3. If you fancy to spend a little more and like goat's cheese, try the Italian restaurant in the Westin Hotel along Jalan Bukit Bintang. Superb service.

    4. If you like it fast (less than 15 minutes), try Pizza Hut's lunch express.....

    5. If you like it cheap by the bundle go for Canadian 2 for 1 pizza (take away only) or Dominos pizza. I prefer Canadian 2 for 1 for parties coz it tastes better and it is much cheaper. Both places can't make garlic bread to save their lives so dont bother

    6. Piccolo Mondo is ok but for the same price, go to California Pizza (item 2)

    7. If you fancy an EXTRA large slice of pizza, go for the Modestos Express. One slice is like about 8 inches long! (stores located in KLCC outside cold storage, Ikano Power Center at the lower ground level, Ground floor of Plaza Damas, and probably others which I havent found). After 8 it is buy one free one, excellent if you're on a budget and wanna take away for breakfast tomorrow hehe.......sometimes if you're lucky, by 7 ot 7:30 you can negotiate to get the 2 for 1 promo.

    8. Shakey's pizza in Bukit Bintang Plaza, is probably the only place left in town that has a daily buffet spread for unlimited pizzas and all their other goodies.....price is pretty reasonable too......

    9. Izzi pizza , Jalan Sultan Ismail, near the cross junction of Jalan Bukit Bintang, is a new place which i havent tried but was told it originated from Indonesia, if you've tried it let me know please.

    10. Last but not least, Italiannies. I don't fancy the place too much because of its inconsistency. Flavour is so so only but the marketing strategy draws the crowd. But again, flavour wise......so so......... but its really up to you

Well that's about it....... (as i said, short list of some of the pizza places in KL)

Oh oh........ and if you're in Kuching, Sarawak. The only DECENT pizza place is the Italian Restaurant (cannot remember the name) in Merdeka Palace. They have a kick a** HUGE oven, and the whole place smells heavenly from the firewood........

    Nuff said

  8. Hv u tried coconut house in Jln Pudu Lama KL.

There r plenty of choices there, and u won't regret.

  9. domino's pizza
