Krabi(southern Thailand) is also a good choice.  You two will be amazed by white beaches, emerald ponds, fascinating coral reefs, numerous large and small islands and verdant forests with caves and waterfallsand. also, you can enjoy a lot of marine sports such as scuba diving!!  Cliff jumping in Koh Phi phi is fun, too.

I'd recommend you to visit koh Phangan http://www.discovery-thailand.com/Koh%20... , it's one of most popular destinations in Thailand, and is well-known as a celebrated island that hosts the biggest beach full moon party! Superb coral reefs and underwater scenery are The great attractions of Phangan too.

If you go for a quiet getaway, why not try Koh Lanta island http://www.discovery-thailand.com/Lanta%... ? It's just an hour from Phuket by boat. tranquil beaches, magical sunsets.
