Best place for a night picnic in Sydney?

McMahons Point at the end of Blues Point Road.  The Harbour Bridge is so close you can almost touch it.

My top three night picnic spots would be:

1) Dover Height Park - voted the best spot in Sydney to see the Sydney Harbour, Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge.

2) La Perouse - it is a bit of a drive but it sure is worth it, just be sure not to drop by on Friday or Saturday nights

3) Observatory Hill - near Sydney Observatory, another good spot to see the harbour.

Hyde Park is pretty with all the fairy lights.  You can sit on the grass under one of the lamps or even find a bench to sit on.  Just watch out for possums and bats dropping their business on you!
