Question:

Best place for a "gap" month working abroad?

Hi everyone, I would like to take a month off work and do some volunteer work abroad to get some experience as I missed the opportunity to have a university gap year. At the moment I am not too fussed exactly where or when but I do love skiing so working in winter on a resort or working with animals i.e. in a safari would be good. The only thing that I would really like is to be somewhere that allows me to meet lot's of people. I'm 23, so people around my age would be ideal. Thanks for any help!

  1. Why blow tons on airfare for just a one month gig? Seems a waste to me.

  2. I know that there are community volunteer opportunites in South America (Brazil, Chile, etc) and Africa. But if you're looking for somewhere cold then maybe check out opportunities in Nepal, Mongolia or even Russia.

    Hope these help ...
