  1. joes crab shak

  2. Unfortunately- 40 Sardines has closed down, but Bonefish is a great place and it's in the JOCO area

  3. the Bristol is good but it is a chain....wander down to the Plaza to McCormick and Schmidt!!!!!

  4. The only really good restaurant is 40 Sardines in Leawood... The chef/owners are Mike and Debbie Gold who used to be at the American....excellent place.

Or I would just go to Dean and Deluca in Leawood and buy fresh...I used to work as their Executive Sous Chef a few years ago...they fly it in several times a week. That would be the freshest seafood in town.

  5. Bonefish is pretty good but it's a chain and you are trying to avoid that so I'd have to say you'll need to leave JOCO and head down to McCormick and Schmick on the Plaza. If you're looking for something cheaper, try their downscaled version of a restaurant, M&S Grill. A lot of people enjoy the Bristol but I've never been a big fan. However, this would allow you to stay in JOCO as there is a location at 119th and Nall. I have never had seafood at Pierpont's at Union Station but their other selections are fantastic and the seafood looks delicious. Good luck!

  6. I like Red Lobster
