Best place on my body to get my first tattoo?

I really like tattoos

Just want to know where i should get it first...not too much pain..ya know?

Your ankle. I was gonna get a tattoo, but my parents didn't let me. But I'm small too and I was gonna get it on my inside ankle. And I think small tattoos are good if it's your first time getting one.

I think a good place is one that you can easily cover up but show off if you want to. Another thing to consider is stretching - a place that is closer to bone may hurt more, but also has less potential of sagging and gaining and losing weight when you get older. Anyplace by the abdomen will stretch if you get pregnant, and it's often an area where you may tend to put on weight that might distort the tattoo later in life. Also, pain is temporary, but a tattoo is forever, so choose the spot where you WANT to get, rather than the least painful one. Good spots: ankle, back, shoulder.

My first tattoo I got on my back shoulder and it didn't hurt at all. It took about 40-50 minutes. I would so do it over again because it didn't bother me at all.

I got my first tattoo on my right shoulder blade.  

That way it's easy to hide with clothing (especially when working - as most businesses frown on tattoos).

I can show it off when I want and cover it up when I want.

I would go for your ankle, for a few reasons, because it is your first and have not felt it i would go for a small area which can be hidden and also to get a small tattoo because it can be hidden for future jobs as such. But if ankle tats arent your thing, just look for a spot on your body that can be hidden if need be, that has a little fat on the area because it is less likely to hurt as much, as it would on the inside of your arm or inside leg, or worse yet on a boney apart. my first was on my shoulder blade...

my daughters first is going on her shoulder blade also ..

and the spot can be covered if needed for work...
