Question:

Best place to be at Silverstone ?

Having started off with General Admission and the VERY early, hit & miss view that results in, I have since tried Hanger Straight grandstand and for the last few years have decided the Pit Straight opposite the podium, ( also with great views of the giant screens ) is the best place for both atmosphere and pit stops, race start etc. Does anyone have any other preferences/opinions on the best place etc ? Many thanks.

  1. I usually go for the pit straight but its good sitting at the corners too because the cars have to slow down.

  2. Pit Straight

  3. having been to siverstone in 2004 with my wife i found it awfull my best seat will be in front of the tv at home with the wife, beers and food (no particular order ahem) the year after i went to oulton park to watch btcc much better cheaper i may add too and you get to meat the drivers unlike f1 you gotta be god d**n rich to speak to them. well my opinion anyway.

  4. at the bridge,on that corner it is realy good 2 seasons ago shumacker span out of the bridge it was so funny but he beatifully controlled it

  5. the drivers seat would be good

  6. it would have to be

    1 - pit straight

    2 - Luffield/woodcote

    3 - Club

  7. the best place for me is Woodcote. I would love to watch it from Brooklands in the hospitality suite but that is way to expensive. Last year we watched the race from Woodcote but we went to the pit straights for the qualifying so getting the best of both worlds

  8. Ive always used the pit straight or Woodcote. Have fun!

  9. For the last 20 years or so my mates and i aways sit on the bank at Club. Watching them brake into club is awsome.
