Best place to buy gold and diamonds in St. Thomas ?

Many of my friends have returned from the Caribbean with beautiful new jewelry. I hear the prices are very good.

Be real careful that if you do buy anything pls declare it bc  I bought a watch in St Thomas and they told me at the store not too worry about declaring it and they knew at the customs bc of the cost!

I think you really have to negotiate the price and do a little homework at home on the internet if your buying good gems,...Thay always say if it's too good to be true its NOT!!

They are all crooks I think ! Be real careful that you buy from a reputable dealer!

My experience was the prices were only marginally better on gold jewelry, and more expensive on electronics,

Most of the jewelry retailers in the Caribbean are VERY expensiv !

If you really want to get a good deal on jewelry, you should only go to one of the reputable online jewelers like http://www.jamesallen.com/ or www.bluenile.com

I do not know why those other two had bad experiences. Go to Main Street on STT, and look around first. Do not buy, once they you are window shopping they will fill empowered to make the best deal.
