There's so much to choose from honestly, and with max and the street car going from one side of DT to the other is really quick. perhaps a little more details would be helpful. However, I'm sorry in a town like Portland no reason why you have to go to a corporate chain place, there's so many incredible places to dine. Just went to VQ, veritable quandary, it has the most amazing oso busco, i mean, it's the best. let's see, Higgins is excellent, Alessandro's, Pazzos, typhoon, bush gardens actually has really good sushi and Japanese nibbles, India house isn't my favorite Indian place but it is right down town. there, Alexis for Greek, Kaaram for Lebanese, they make their own pita, which is sooo incredible, and the lamb dishes are exquisite, these are places right down town down town, there's so many more places in NW and in lower NW/Pearl, and across the river, ClarkLewis being one of my favorite places. So, yeah we need more details, than just best places to eat down town, cause really there are waaay too many choices. Next time specify what type of food, and prices, perhaps what occasion it may be, this would totally help. Happy eating!

Jakes omg its really good if you like seafood its amazing..... in the front there is a elevator that the seafood is delivered tooo... its amazing... um and i'm not sure if there is one downtown but olive garden that is the worlds most amazing pasta place... i hope that helps
