  1. I would say, If you like Seafood?. The best place to eat Is the Rogano Restaurant In Glasgow.

    Address, Royal Exchange square of Buchanan street, number 21, to be exact. I know this because I served my apprenticeship there In 1959 to1964, as a chef. it was brilliant then, and I here, Its even "More Brilliant Now?". Very expensive i have to say

  5. at the bottom end of Argyle Street where the old old what every woman wants used to be (Kingston bridge end) there is a Thia restaurant there doesn't look up to much from the outside but it is lovely inside and the food is great... either that or DiMaggio's of Buchanan street great Italian ENJOY YOUR MEAL... CAN I COME TOO ?

I love Konaki, a Greek restaurant on Sauchiehall Street, just along from the Kelvinhall.  Really delicious food, great value and a lovely atmosphere.  We've tried loads and loads of places in town but keep going back.  Have recommended it to all my friends and they're all Konaki addicts now too lol.

    Di Maggio's just off Buchanan Street, excellent value and great food in very pleasant surrounding's.

    That's my idea of mid budget, but maybe thats not everyone's opinion.

    Meal for 2 having 2 courses i have found usually approx, £25 -£30.....thats including soft drinks.

    TRY Dimaggios just off Queen Street.

    also there is a lovely restaurant along Great Western Road.

  8. Try somewhere in Merchant Square if you're not too skint, it's very pretty in there.

  9. The restaurant below is  favorite of mine in Glascow. Nice Ambience and superb service mixed with wonderful cuisine.

  10. Dependent on your budget. Cafe Andaluz for tapas both West End and St. Vincent St.

    Gastropub - Stravaigin

    Steak - The Grill on the Corner

    Top drawer not worried about the bill - Brian Maule at Chardon D'Or

    Indian - Mother India, Sauchiehall Street

    Chinese - casual - Ciao Byres Road. Serious - Ho Wong York Street

    Italian - La Fiorentina, Paisley Road West

    Pizza - arguably Di Maggios, try one of the smaller ones Royal Exchange Square is a nightmare as it can sit 300 (I worked there)

    Best Known for quality - Ubiquitous Chip, beware though it is about £45 for 3 courses plus your bevvy. Ashton Lane

  13. Its a place just outside glasgow, its in bishopbriggs there are two places actually. There is Kings Lodge Buffet King which is amazing. All you can eat for £10 and also just along from it is La Vita's the best italian place you can find. they have one in glasgow aswell though. Hmmm im starvin just thinkin bout this.

  14. Depends what kind of food you like. La Tasca in Renfield Street do great tapas. China Buffet King is best for chinese and The Ashoka is good for Indian food. Bella Napoli for Italian. Also lots of pubs do pretty good food too.
