make sure you have researched what a horse will cost throughout their life, are you ready for that expense?  if you cant keep him at your home/barn, you have boarding expenses, food, tack, shoes, vet bills........i have three horses and they need CONSTANT care.  its like having a baby. these are large animals that need certain things.  are you willing to provide them with what they need?  if so, and you have the means, good luck, they are such a joy to have!!!

Wow. If your biggest concern is price you should not get a horse. They are incredibly expensive, both to buy and to care for. Horses need food, shelter, vet care, and more accessories than I can even list. And if you do manage to find a cheap one, I can guarantee that it will need some kind of rehabilitation, whether health or temperament. Needless to say, this kind of horse isn't for the beginner. Get a hamster instead.
