Best place to find models?

Question

I am a beginning photographer, and am looking to build up my portfolio. I have used the same subjects repeatedly (my friends, and family members) and need more variety. I need someone who is actually into modeling as I specialize in stylized portraits...

Now, I am just a beginner and don't really have money to spare... besides these pictures aren't for a national campaign... just a stepping stone to my potential career.

Any ideas as to wear I should look for volunteer models?

try local colleges or universities.  you may find that it's easy to negotiate an alternative to paying money.  lots of starting out models would be glad to model in exchange for prints or cds of the photos you create.  be sure to agree on the terms beforehand though.
