My grandfather left me a small collection of arrowheads. These arrowheads are from Kansas. I'm interested in selling them, and would like to know an internet site that would give me a fair value?

  1. try ebay

  2. What you need is a book: Overstreet's Price Guide. You can probably get it from Amazon.com, or in a big bookstore. But don't be shocked to find out they aren't worth as much as you think they are. Also, pricing arrowheads is very complex, and depends on a lot of factors. There are thousands of types, and it isn't easy for an amateur to figure out what they really have. Try consulting someone who has knowledge of archaelogy, especially in that region.

  3. For you information, the technical name for arrowheads is really "points".  The value would depend on the age, quality, workmanship, rarity of the stone, and a lot of other variables.  You would need to consult some one who knows about "Native American" artifacts, and not someone on the Internet.
