Best place to get a Harley jacket?

i want a nice brown leather jacket for riding my bike. where can i get these besides directly from harley davidson?

Anything with the Harley logo on it is proprietary, meaning that Harley get's money from it's sale, and that it is usually more than an item without the logo.

Online, look at Denniskirk.com or J&Pcycle.com or JCWHITNEY.com all three have leather jackets at better prices.

if you want a harley brand jacket , best to get it in china were they are made. or you can buy a good jacket from a leather store like, Wilsons, or other. most dealers only carry highly overpriced, cheaply made imported jackets. leather stores carry much nicer american made jackets, or from better countries than china.  or try ebay, I got a great leather jacket on ebay that cost $250 at wilson's for $40.  of course that was a few years ago.

i've had real good luck getting riding gear on ebay. find the brand and size you want, then search ebay.sometimes you gotta wait  while for the brand, color, and size you need at the price you want, but it's worth it.

Schott of New York, but these carry too high a price tag for me, though they are MAGNIFICENT!  SCHOTT of New York City made Marlon Brando's black leather jacket for him The Wild Bunch.

The leather jacket came from most of the post war guys coming back and using various flight jackets.  You can buy a exact replica of these, but it won't have the eagle on it nor HARLEY-Davidson.  (The didn't see the point in buying it with the names of two strangers on it.)
