Anyone would suggest me a list best place to go in spain for honeymoon?

That will be great if able to list down all the places, days to stay, and estimated budget in that particular places.

Places i'm looking for are romantic, historical, beaches and etc; but not high priority in clubbing/pub/nightlife.

Other than that, what type of transportation is best used in Spain?

  1. The capitol  of Spain Madrid is a must, historical, with interesting buildings (for instance the Museum of Art,Prado) and full of interesting people. Also Barcelona is recommendable, also a historical city, not to forget Granada and the castle Alhambra, known all over the world. From Barcelona you can take a boat to the island Majorca, with nice beaches, hotels, there are of course nightlife too, but there are still many nice, cosy villages to visit, where you can walk around and just enjoy the environment and the company of each other.

Actually all Spain is worth to see. If you have much time, I suggest train, then you see a lot of the Spanish country side, but that takes time, so flying is the best choise.

  2. Madrid is the more important city in the spain. It´s situated in the midle of spain. You can go there by plane because all the flys company go there. It´s full of things to do, you can visit Prado Museum, Retiro Park, Gran Via ( for shopping) and taste the best tapas that you can find lik bravas potatoes, beer.. good travel

  3. In Madrid you can visit El Parque del Retiro, La puerta de Alcalá, El palacio de Oriente, Casco histórico, Puerta del sol (km 0), Templo de Debod, Museo del prado, Atocha... The underground and the Bus are good transports. If you go to the center, make by metro and bus, in car you pay for parking.

For use the underground or bus you pay 6 euros for a ticket with 10 travels. Or you can pay 1 euro for each travel if you don´t have a ticket. You can buy the ticket (metrobus) in the underground.

Other places of Spain: Barcelona (monuments and beach), Granada (Alhambra de Granada), Valencia (monuments and beach) Bilbao (monuments and beach) Galicia (Catedral de Santiago de compostela... and beach) Toledo, Segovia (Acueducto)... There are many places for visit.

    Chau ;)

  4. Go to Sitges.

Great beaches, places to eat, bars, and near to Barcelona for the tourist bit.

Spain is a big country by european standards so it is better to fly internally, especially if time is short.

There is a high speed train between Madrid and Seville.

Otherwise public transport is good ,cheap and reansonably reliable. Some trains take hours because they stop everywhere.

I usually recommend that people hire a car for a few days to explore the real Spain. (Note. The Real Spain is only 100 yards/ metres from the main road).
