Best place to go in the Domincan Republic?

Hi hoping you could help me out here. Planning a trip to the Dominican Republic, but don't know which is the best place to go. My choices are Santo Domingo, Juan Dolio, Bayahibe, Punta Cana and Puerto Plata. I wan to go to a place where the beaches are pristine, and beautiful. Could someone tell me which place they think is the best? Thanks in advance.

I've been to Punta Cana - I loved it ... BEAUTIFUL

I've had friends go to Santo Domingo and they've said Punta cana is much nicer and cleaner than SD.

You will like Punta Cana is the best choice.The night life is awesome. You can visit some of the best night clubs there like Mangu Disco, Pacha, Discoteca Areito is one of the best nightclubs in Punta Cana.

There is always something to doalso think the scenery could have been better optimized.

Without any hesitation : Puerto Plata, because Punta Cana is boring outside the resorts!

Here is the top 5 of the Dominicn Republic :

1. Puerto Plata

2. Punta Cana (very good but only hotels, to isolated)

3. Juan Dolio ( small but nice place 65 km from capital)

4. Samana (nice but not yet well developped)

5. Boca Chica ( to much free ladies...)

Why is Puerto Plata the best ?

1. Bigger beaches

2, A lot of night life ( disco's, club, and so much more)

3. A town at 10 min from hotels (by public bus)

4. Isabella de Torre

5. Ocean World

6. El Castillo (beginning of the new world)

7. So much to do and to discover....
