Best place to go on sun holiday??(Europe)

Question

Im from ireland and me and my gf want to go on a week holiday at the beginning of septemer. We have seen a few deals in places such as majorca, lanzarote, salou.. etc. We just dont know where would be relaxing, also lively, and central to attrations and shops, beach, etc.

Malta is very sunny and it has a great nightlife. There are a lot of places to shop and maltese are very helpful. In malta you can find really nice beaches too.
