I am very interested in going shark caging.. however the only shark that I'm REALLY interested in seeing up close is the great white!

Where can I do this?

What prices am I looking at?

Where is better, Australia or Mexico? What other places have this?

  1. Ausralia is good. Also a place called "Seal Island." Off the coast of the tip of South Africa, I believe. Any area with large seal and sea lion population is a great place to see great whites. Those should be easy to find in the hundreds or thousands covering several miles of shoreline.

  2. Im only 15 but I am an open water scuba diver. I think port lincoln (adelaide, australia) it was great fun and they film you in the cage which is a great souvenier. Costs around 600-800 aussie dollars last time I went but is totally worth it. But the best shark diving is in cape town, south africa because the sharks jump 3 metres out of the water and for some reason this is the only place they do it. They use plexiglass cylinders and under the water you can't see the cage and it looks like nothing is there. I haven't done this but it looks like great fun.

    Hope that helps

    Have fun
