Hi guys. Was in Dublin for a wee holiday. Only came back last week. Loved Brown Thomas/ and other shops and want to move back. Somewhere far from Temple bar (as I hated it!!-too busy/ a bit tacky and expensive!!!)

PS recommend some nice areas to live, not too far from thwe city centre. BUT desirable and not too expensive?

  1. Ranelagh is a nice place to live and not too far from the  city centre but far enough to be away from Temple Bar. You can hope on the Luas   and get into town very easily.

http://www.inranelagh.com/realestate.php check out this site for more info and to see what type of accommodation is available.

Remember it will be expensive to live there.

    Good luck  with the move.

  2. Drumcondra - bout 15 min walk into city and still reasonable on the rents, big old victorian houses!

  3. navan

  4. clonsilla very close 2 train station very respectable house about 15mins on train to city centre very quick

  5. anywhere south east of city, coast train quick and regular
