Best place to live/visit for 2 months in Australia?

I am 22 male and i am looking into taking a working holiday to Australia. I want to live and work in one of the big cities or at least really close to one of them. The main reason of the trip is to party and see the fun stuff around so a city with a great nightlife and lots of single ladies is key. Are there many apartments that i could rent just for 2 months and if so what kind of price would i be looking at per month for a 2 bedroom?

Are there any hotels that offer housing for employees? and would offer jobs for 2 months? It would be best if i could just get like a labourer job, something like grounds work or something simple as the main reason i will be going to is party and have a great time and check out what Aus has to offer.

Also what would people say are some must see/do things in Australia?

  1. sydney is the number 1 spot for working tourists, because there are heaps of jobs, the weather is great all year, and its a party city.

renting alone could cost you from 250 a week.

normal income starts at around 600 a week.

lots of seasonal work around, so you shouldnt have any dramas.

get hooked up with o job agency before you arrive.

  2. The Gold Coast in Queensland is the place to PARTY.

    Fantastic beaches too.

We have 4 theme parks around the Gold Coast as well.

And about 4 hrs away is Australia Zoo..which was the home of the crocodile hunter.

  3. Melbourne

  4. Sydney is the best place for you. Partying, nightclubs, single gorgeous ladies, etc..

In terms of short term employment then Sydney would be easiest. Look in to signing up with a temp agency before you come, try Skilled and Drake.

Sydney will offer short term leases but be aware Sydney is rather expensive.

Things to try: Skydive the beach, Bridgewalk, Minus 5.
