I would like to know the best place to move in Florida.Id like to buy a house with land, not like the ones you see in the city right next to each other with no space at all.I would like to have at the least 2 acres in my backyard and a nice size house, but not too big because I'm more concerned on land.Yet I would like to be five minutes away from the city so my resources are very close by.

I would like to be close to these following cities because I am employed by the federal bureau and they have buildings in these places So I'm looking to transfer somewhere close to these areas:

1. Pensacola

2. Coleman

3. Marianna

4. Miami

5. Tallahassee

Thank you for your time into looking into my question and God Bless

  1. I love Miami. It is so peaceful

  2. Pensacola is my fav...Beaches are beautiful and FREE except for a $1 toll over the bridge.  People are friendly and I've lived here all my life, over 50 years.  I love it.  Tallahassee is a college town.  Marianna is small.. Miami has a lot of Hispanic population but as for property, I don't know about that.  Real Estate in Pensacola is down like it is every where else right now.  A great time to buy.

  3. Though I have never lived in any of those areas, I've been to Pensacola and it was beautiful.

Now, with that being said... the best place I have ever been in Florida is Siesta Key (Sarasota area)... you should look into that.

I know that's probably NOT the answer that youre looking for, but you really should check it out.

The economy in the area is not that bad for comparitive Floridian cities and it looks like something from the Bahamas.

My wife is also employed by the Government (Dept. of Homeland Security) and I can go into private practice so we've entertained the notion.

Goo luck with the move, if youre like us youre probably sick of winter.
