  1. There are not many out there...They have them in Nevada USA.

  2. Australia.  Have you seen the film "Man From Snowy River?".  If you love wild horses (they're called brumbies in Australia) and beautiful scenery then you should see this film.  You can go and stay in these areas and do trips on horseback that can go for days and involve camping or staying in huts (just google horse riding snowy river).

There are also brumbies in the outback (along with other feral animals that shouldn't be there like camels, buffalo, donkeys etc.).  They are trying to round them all up because they do a lot of damage to the environment.  If you do an adventure tour through central Australia or through the Kimberlies you will probably see them.  Even if you don't, you will get to see heaps of other wildlife and spectacular scenery.

  3. Go to the south of France to an area called The Camargue, you'll see wild horses, although these days they ARE looked after by local people, but they are still wild and mostly white horses. beautiful! Don't know about UK horses though. Colorado has wild horses, There is a round up every year. In fact, a number of western states DO HAVE WILD HORSES. The Sherwood forest in Eng;and used to have wold ponies too, but I don't know if they are still there. check with National parks people and wildlife conservationists, they could tell you more.
