Question:

Best place to sell car online?

Looking to sell my car. It's in the low 20'sK range.

Autotrader never nabbed anything for me (or quick enough since I traded the car in before I got a response)

Ebay looks good but I want top dollar, maybe try Buy It Now?

cars.com, they get alot of traffic?

Newspaper, still the old fashioned way but lots of readers and exposure? Pricey at $61 though.

I'm not doing dealers or Carmax because the trade in values killed me the last three cars. I'm going to be a private seller. I have no spot to show the car off on the road either, someone not minding their own business always calls me up on the car sitting somewhere.

  2. craigslist.com its very competive cary buying on there, i bought my car from there and you'll get a response really quickly. its also good for selling all things. its basically a website where people post things they want to sell, you could leave your number or email and people will contact you in no time.

  3. www.carzone.com

  4. try craigslist

  5. I am serious, you may be outpricing it .Too high. If someone buys privately irrespective from which medium ( ebay etc) they would want a good deal, cutting out the middle man etc. Don't expect a show room price because that is after the dealer adds his overhead costs. Look at your price and bring it down at least 15%. Top dollar attitude does not work in private sales and especially for cars.
