Best place to settle down in Australia?

Could someone suggest a best place to settle down in Australia. I am planning to migrate for work and settling down there. Suggest a city that has good number of job oppurtunities for computer engineers.

Place should be very good in culture, resource availablity and facilities.

Your best employment options will be Sydney or Melbourne and they (particularly Melbourne) have the best cultural offerings of the capitals. Brisbane would come next with its good job outlook (the whole state is booming), good cultural activities (though a bit behind the first two cities), then Perth with its good job outlook (can't really comment on the culture, but would expect it to be behind the eastern states). Resource availability and facilities should be the same in all of the eastern capitals. Perth is booming, but is smaller than the other cities and it's a very long way away.

Arrive in the Cities, usually Sydney, than see where it takes you from there! Yes, Sydney is very expensive for Real Estate, also I have heard Adelaide will be the next boom town and is still affordable, could be the shot!

Sydney has plenty of job opportunities, but there is a housing crisis and to buy a house is a rip off and its hard to find rent for cheap

Melbourne has lot of industries and opportunities for people with computer skill. In addition, many suburbs have Indian pockets with Indian shops. Good Luck!
