Best place to shop for souveniers in Montevideo?

Currently I'm staying at downtown Radisson and there is few shops that are selling souvenirs nearby but I'm looking to buy bargain souvenirs/exotic goods at markets around town. Is there place like Avenida Alvear/Rodeo Drive in Montevideo where I can buy good stuffs at good price?

Well........I dunno exactly what you are looking for.

Around the Radisson you'll find mainly leather clothes, there is also a place I think it is on Colonia Street just in the corner of Radisson Casino that have things as "mates" and tipical things from Uruguay.

Also, if you go to the Punta Carretas Shopping, you can find things made in stones.

And yes, you can find exotic and hand made things at the Mercado de los Artesanos  in the Plaza Libertad.

It is close to the Radisson, just in 18 de Julio and the Plaza.

Go there, I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for.
