i stayed at the hotel la plaza near downtown area. has a pool on the roof with a sauna, some of the rooms stink so if they give you a room ask for a differant one, also the hotels there like to play games saying they not have your reservations, trying to get you for more money. if your going there to meet a lady and bring her back to the hotel expect to be chaperoned by 1 or more family members and they wil go for the small refrigerator to empty it of its contents leaving you with the bill! if you want to see a nice church goto the catholic church in buga, they will know where it is. and be ready for beggars to hit you up for money, and getting stared at they not see many americans there, bottom line be safe
