  1. i am currently studying abroad in switzerland, its not bad. but i think brasil, japan, or italy would be a wonderful place.

  2. I studied abroad in Brussels, Belgium and it was wonderful. It is a great place if you are considering traveling while you are studying abroad. It is very centrally located to a lot of the major European sites (I traveled a lot). It is also the home of a of the European Union institutions. I was lucky enough to have an internship with the European Parliament and I learned a ton about Belgium, the EU, and the rest of the world. I had a friend who had an internship at the New York Times office in Brussels so that is something you may want to look into.

In grad school, I worked in the Study Abroad Department and learned a lot about different options. This is just a really basic list... I would suggest going to your study abroad advisor and they will be able to help you out with specific programs.

    1. You need to decide what general area (Europe, Asia, Latin America...) and focus of study (is it specific for journalism, do you want and internship...)

    2. That you want to go to, do you want to go for a total (language) emersion or do you want to take some or all your classes in English.

    3. What kind of living situation do you want (stay in dorms, apartment, with a family).

    4. Cost (not just of the program, but also the country ex.  Ireland has the best economy of all countries on the Euro so you may not be able to do as much because of how much things cost).

Some study abroad companies to look at are: IES, AFS, American University's World Capital Programs (Washington DC), Boston University, CEA, ISEP, Austalearn, SIT, (Australia), Butler University (Indiana). Also check out www.studyabroad.com they have a ton of info.

  3. Cambridge obviously
