  3. im not so sure lindsay needs her head examined. dont listen to american propaganda. youre looking for a place with little american influence, so why would u want to listen to a baboon like josh who is clearly influenced by usa. if youre not a greedy capitalist, you have nothing to worry about. if you want to go to a place where people are respected, not only because theyre rich, then go to venezuela. id say skip costa rica, and go to cuba. thats another great place.

  4. Skip South America and go to Costa Rica just up from Panama and Colombia. You won't be disappointed. Been there many times. Tell Lindsay Nelson she needs her head examined. Venezuela - NO WAY. In Venezuela you might get shot for trying to speak your mind. Just look at all the violence since Chavez shut down a television station enjoyed by most of Venezuela but had views that opposed his dictatorship. My aunt and uncle were stationed in Venezuela for 2 years with a telecommunication's company.  They basically were held captive as prisoners as they could only "safely" travel between the compound they lived in and the place that they worked. They hated it. Oh and all that  "oil money" that is supposedly being redirected to the poor by Chavez - take a look at the outrageous slums and destitution that is still ever so prevalent today in Venezuela.  But if its South America that you crave - go to Carnival in Rio - woo hoo! That's Brazil.

  5. Buenos Aires has historic neighborhoods, beautiful places. I would recommend that for sure

Here you have apartments on that area

  6. Argentina!

...but if you want no american influence and indigenous people to speak to, it would have to be the north of the country. Where I live, in the Patagonia (southern Argentina), there is some american influence and very few indigenous people.

  7. venezuela. its got a good socialist govt with little american influence, and locals would probably be cool
