  1. INDIA

  2. Don't know what's close to Richmond Hill but there's a place at Gerrard and Woodfield Road called Mahar. Nice, clean and small. If you want something larger and maybe easier for you to get to, there's The Host facing Hurontario outside of Square One shopping Centre. Both of these have buffets and menus. There's another really nice place at John and Queen, I think, that's upstairs. It's a dressier place with a menu only, but I can't remember the name of it.

  3. I am not sure but I think Indian food is not too popular in North America. The best Indian food is to be found in London England.

  4. There are quite a few Indian restaurants around Richmond Hill.  Bombay Bhel at Commerce Valley Dr. E. and Hwy 7 is my favourite in the area.  The Indian Kitchen at Yonge and Clark is also quite good.  There is also The Host at Highway 7 and East Beaver Creek, which is okay, but I have never been quite as fond of it as the other two.  Contrary to what others have posted, Indian food is very popular in Toronto.  There are plenty of great choices north of the city (though if you do want to venture downtown I would reccomend Bombay Palace at King and Jarvis).

  5. Well I wouldnt suggest India, but you can drive to Vancouver and try the VIJ's restaurant. You will never look back.
