Best places in Puerto Rico?

Question

My friend and I are planning a week long trip for March and strongly considering Puerto Rico. Anyone have suggestions of where to stay, best beaches, best food, best bars? We're in our twenties so we'd prefer a nice beach with a good nightlife. Thanks for your help (if any!).
