MY THREE GIRLFRIENDS AND I ARE PLANNING TO GO TO MEXICO. NON OF US EVER BEEN THERE AND WE ARE ON A BUDGET. WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE CHEAPEST BUT NICEST PLACE TO GO. WE ARE IN OUR TWENTIES, SINGLE AND WANT TO HAVE FUN. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR PACKAGE DEALS ONLINE, BUT ONE OF MY FRIEND IS SCARED THAT WE'RE GOING TO WIND UP ON A BEACH FULL OF SENIOR CITIZENS, (NOTHING AGAINST THEM, BUT WE WANT TO BE SURROUNDED BY PEOPLE OUR OWN AGE SO THAT WE CAN HAVE FUN) DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE WE CAN GO THAT IS INEXPENSIVE YET NICE, ALL INCLUSIVE OFCOURSE. WE ARE GOING THE 1ST WEEK IN AUGUST.

  1. Well as someone who is getting close to being a "senior citizen" I must say you just ruined my afternoon completely! (Well not really, the rain did that and besides, no matter how old I get, I can't imagine wanting to spend my day on a beach "full of senior citizens" anyway......)

Cabo and Cancun (including Cozumel and Playa del Carmen) are excellent, perhaps the nicest places in Mexico but VERY pricey, especially for "all-inclusive" packages.

The best places for good deals during this time would be:

    Mazatlan

    Puerta Vallarta

    Iztapa-Zihuatenejo

    Huatulco

Just check really closely on the net what the packages and hotels say about their services and ambiance. If it says "quite" "restful" "special lo-cal diet available" "oxygen on location" "doctor on call" then you should avoid that place like the plague! If on the other hand it says stuff like: "many nearby clubs" "great nightlife" "children restricted" "great singles bars" etc., then you are home free. Just read carefully the info before you commit!

You will have some rain at that time (August) probably, BUT a) it doesn't usually rain all day only an hour of so, b) Even in the rain the temp can stay above 80 and c) there is alway lots to do in these places.......

(And most of these resort towns are fun for people your age no matter what your hotel is like, so you won't have a problem.......

  2. if you're on a budget, avoid Cancun. click the link below to read reviews and compare prices of hotels in Tulum (two hours south of Cancun) same Caribbean Sea but cheaper.

  3. Riviera Maya, just below Cancun!

  4. jilotepec, mexico, mexico or  TULA ,HIDALGO it is a town of old statues and things,  if u decide now, then you can book flight and hotel, and it will be alot cheaper, even cancun is ok.

  5. cabo san lucas- gorgeous beaches and great surfing, cool markets with authentic mexican stuff, good restaurants and shopping, and great hotels. went there on a small budget and came back satisfied. a good all-around experience.

  6. Your typing in ALL CAPS makes me think you are mentally retarded and Mexico isn't r****d friendly so I would advise you not to go.

  7. Mikey say August is hurricane/rainy season here. Mikey think all young American partying females go to Cancun. Mikey in Acapulco and not like gringoville ,aka Cancun.

Good luck - Acapulco is full so you cant come here :)

Ixtapa / Zuhantinaho are georgeous and not too touristy :)

  8. go to cancun, you only live once lol. can i sell you a lowercase letter?

  9. I suggest Puerto Vallarta.   Nuevo Vallarta is just next door, but a little more expensive.  Check those two places out.
