I am an outdoor person who wants to find somewhere with beaches and mountains where i can spend my days in warm sun with out a lot of presence around. I enjoy kayaking and rock climbing as well as just plain hiking. I would like somewhere with rich culture but I am unsure of where to go. If you have been or heard great things about somewhere in south america, i would love to hear about it.

  1. You should go to Colombia, the country is very beautiful and safe, in the major touristic centers like Medellin, Bogota, Cartagena, San Andres you feel as safe as you would in any city in the US, in fact all these cities are safer than Washington D.C according to an international agency.

Also you can find great places to kayak, climb and hike all at the same time; incredible places that you've never seen before, like the beaches in San Andres where the sea has 7 colours, or the natural parks scattered all over the country.

Another important thing is that the people there is the nicest people in all of latin america.

    Hope this helps
