Might I suggest Frostwire instead of Limewire, its the same as Limewire pro, but free. If your smart enough with just getting songs, you won't get any viruses. i.e don't download songs that are lower than 1000kb in size, also if the title matches exactly what you wrote, unless you know what you wrote is exactly correct. I've been using Frostwire for a while now, and haven't gotten a virus yet.
