  1. Gramercy Tavern and Daniel are amazing - also try Per Se - it's unbelievable!

  2. Tony Dinapoleas in Times Sqare has great Italean food. ...Wo hop in China Town is also good. Depends what your in the mood to eat.

  3. -Go down to Chelsea, find the tiny hole in the wall called Tia Pol, quite possibly the best spanish tapas in NYC,

-For something on the East Village search for I Coppi Between 1st Ave and Avenue A, it's an excellent Tuscan restaurant with the best roast boar I've ever had.

-For excellent Chinese food try Chinatown Brasserie down on Lafeyette in the east village, quite possibly some of the best upscale chinese around.

    - On the East side of Midtown find Gyu-Kaku.  It's an amazing Japanese restaurant where you actually get to cook your own food on your personal pit grill at your table.  They have Kobe beef for a pretty decent price.

-For something a bit more fun and random check out Ellen's Stardust Diner, all the servers are Broadway Actors/Actresses and they sing as they serve.  Plus the food is very good and decently priced.

-If you can afford the Upper West Side make reservations at Isabella's behind the Museum of Natural History, a bit more upscale but a beautiful restaurant with amazing food.

-If you want a good breakfast place near midtown head out to Central park south for Sarabeth's.  The food is amazing, the almond crusted french toast and pork and apricot sausage is beyond belief.

-Virgils is very good for BBQ in NYC but it's often packed and personally I say if you want BBQ go to Texas, Carolina, or Tennessee.

  4. any fast food in 5th ave

  5. Some of my favorite places:

Rock Center Cafe in Rockefeller Center

Cafe Centro on E. 45th St. (MetLife building)

Blue Smoke BBQ on E. 28th St.

    Virgil's Barbecue in Times Square

Stardust Diner in Times Square  (singing waiters!)

    Sarge's Deli on 3rd Ave.

    Ben Ash Delicatessen

    Katz's Deli on Houston St.

What sort of food do you like, what price range are you looking for?  What neighborhood(s) will you be visiting?
