Best places to go out in Birmingham?

For my 21st still deciding where to go but as birmingham is looking like a good option Im looking for any suggestions of clubs and bars. Nothing too expensive but nice that doesn't just play like r n b and dance etc but indi and party tunes as well. Don't really want to end up in a new city and not have a clue where to go. Its just the girlies having a night out as im going away with my family and boyfriend, so just want to make it a fun, happy and memorable night. Thanks

There are some nice places in The Arcadian - Indie bar is nice and Las Iguanas is good for cocktails. There's also a good indie bar near St Paul's cathedral called The Actress and the Bishop.

DON'T go to Broad St unless you want to be surrounded by a lot of drunken people vomiting into bins.

Broad street can be good if you are careful as there is a wide range of bars and clubs. TGI fridays is also good on the hagley road it is expensive but really fun and good atmosphere.
